In-pit Resource estimate for the Deloro Nickel Sulphide Deposit
- 43 holes drilled to date. 16,710 metres.
- Lithology at Deloro consists of a strongly serpentinized dunite core and minor peridotite
- The ultramafic units are intruded by barren felsic dykes as well as late mafic dykes
- Mineralogy at Deloro has been characterized by 370 samples analyzed by QEMSCAN and confirms the main recoverable nickel minerals are heazlewoodite followed by pentlandite and minor millerite.
- Carbon potential is also demonstrated by the presence of brucite which appears in lower but significant concentrations to those at Crawford.
