- Lithology at Mann West is primarily peridotite with minor dunite and lesser pyroxenite. Nickel sulphide mineralization is hosted in serpentinized peridotite and dunite. PGEs are associated with pyroxenite horizons “reefs”.
- Mineralogy at Mann West has been characterized by analyzing 530 samples with TIMA (Tescan integrated Mineral Analyzer).
- Mineralogy confirms Mann West has Mg Serpentine and brucite averages similar to those of Crawford samples, while having almost 3X more awaruite (Fe-Ni alloy) with equivalent heazlewoodite as the predominant sulphide mineral
