- Accessible year-round by road, located 35 km southeast of Timmins
- Texmont property had a brief production phase from July 1971 to December 1972. It is estimated that 75,000 to 100,000 tons of ore were milled at an average grade of 0.9-1.0% nickel. The operation targeted narrow, high-grade nickel mineralization. The mine shutdown in 1972 primarily due to low nickel prices and high fuel prices.
- The initial MRE incorporates drilling data containing 145 holes from two campaigns developed by CNC (2022-2023) and Fletcher Nickel (2006-2008)

In Pit Resource estimate for the Textmond Nickel Deposit
- MRE was calculated using 144 holes, (44,528 m) completed by Canada Nickel and Fletcher Nickel.
- Measured Resource total 3.3 Mt at 0.34% nickel, Indicated Resources total 34.6 Mt at 0.27%nickel, and Inferred Resources total 57.7 Mt at 0.22% nickel
- Mineralogy is hosted by komatiitic peridotite flows that have been serpentinized and locally carbonated.
- Sulphide Mineralogy consists mainly of pentlandite and pyrrhotite with minor millerite, heazlewoodite, pyrite and chalcopyrite. Mineralization occurs as net-textured to locally semi-massive at the high-grade core, surrounded by a medium to low grade envelope with disseminated fine grained sulphides.
